The "ants" go marching two by two

We had our visiting teaching conference at the end of January during Relief Society. It was great to have all the sister together in the same room, we were filled to capacity! We had fun watching a skit with a few "ANTS" from the colony. They came to help us to remember:

Some Visiting Teaching routes have been changed a bit due to people moving in and out of the ward. If you are not sure who you visit or need your list, please contact Suzanne Smith our Visiting Teaching Coordinator. Also, please remember to report your visiting teaching at the each month to your Supervisor, or Suzanne directly if you are unsure who to contact.

Need in the Ward
 We are still in in need of one more crib for Kailee. If you can help out with this, please contact Joann Jensen or Sis.Marshall. She has everything else. Thank you to everyone who has helped contribute items.

Scripture Reading Challenge
Just a reminder about the stake reading challenge. The Stake has asked us to read the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and 3rd Nephi by April 18th (Stake Conference). We are looking for a few sisters to share in Relief Society for a few minutes what they learned from this doing this challenge.

Ward Conference Update
We will be having Ward Conference on March 15th. We will be having Sacrament meeting the first hour, and Relief Society the second hour (Gospel Doctrine will be cancelled). For the 3rd hour, we will be visiting ward members. We are asking ward members to pray about families they would be interested in visiting. Names need to be submitted to Nancy Brown by March 6th so she can submit them to the Bishop.

Service Anyone?
The Youth are looking for service projects. If you have one, please let the youth leaders know.

Sunday Announcements and updates

Ward FHE night - Tonight, Monday February 9th at 6:30. If you are bringing spaghetti or helping serve please come by 6:15 pm so we can start right on time at 6:30 PM. The ward will be providing spaghetti dinner with salad. All friends and desserts are welcome.

Family History
Sister Klinger will be at the church this Tuesday at 10:00 am to help you with your family history. Family History Consultants will also be available at the usual time (7:00 PM) at the church. If you were able to take a family name to the temple last Saturday, don't forget to get a leaf for our tree outside the Relief Society room.

Need in the Ward
We have a sister in need of household items such as silverware, bowls, toaster, cups, as well as baby items (two boys ages 3 months and 16 months). If you any items you can give, please contact Joann Jensen.

Relief Society Activity - This Thursday at 7:00 PM
We were not able to secure a teacher for the container gardening, so we will be doing a class on Breadmaking instead. If you have a favorite recipe you can share with us, samples of your bread, or tricks that work for you, please come and share them with us.

Service need anyone?
Young Men and Young Women's will both be focusing on service this year. If when visiting teaching you notice a service need, or have a need for babysitting please let them know so they can recieve the blessings that come from serving others.

Sisters Connecting Families

This Saturday is the Stake Relief Society Temple Day. Please choose a session before or after the luncheon which will be between 11:30 am - 1:00 PM. If you have Baptisms that need to be performed that day, you can contact Sis. Yoannon. 

Announcements and upcoming Activities

Ward Activity Feb 8th
We will be having a Ward Family Home Evening Spagetti Dinner at 6:30PM on February 8th. The ward will be providing spagetti, salad and roll. Sign ups were passed around for help cooking the spagetti (it will be provided to you on Sunday), servers for the server line, and desserts. Please contact Sis. Mallory if you are able to help and didn't have a chance to sign up.

Relief Society Activity - Feb 12th
Please save the date for our next Relief Society Activity. We will be learning about Container Gardening - what we can plant in pots if you don't have a yard to devote to it.

Family History

Our Family History tree is growing. As a reminder Family History Consultants are at the church every Tuesday at 7:00 PM and sometimes at 10:00 am. Please contact Sis. Klinger if you would like to meet in the morning or to get a leaf for the tree.
