Time out for Women (TOFW)

Deseret Book will be having Time out for Women in Orlando this coming April 15th and 16th.
Bring your faith and add it to the faith of thousands of women at this unique two- day event.

            Saturday, April 16th 9:00 AM -3:45 PM

Activities this week- reminder

This Wednesday (tomorrow) the Activity day girls (ages 8-11) will be having a progressive dinner activity. They will be meeting at the Shinn home at 6:00 PM and will be finished at 8:00 PM at the Christenson Home.

Friday, December 18th @ 7:00 PM at the ward building. 

We will be having cookies and hot chocolate.

 Please bring 2 dozen cookies if you can and a new children's toy (unwrapped).

Elder's Quorum Christmas party

Just a reminder to wear you ugly sweater and come to the Elder's Quorum Christmas party  tonight, Friday December 11th at 7:00 PM. It will be at the Mallory's home. This will be for adults only. Kids are invited to the Ward Christmas party next week on the 18th.

Just a reminder our Ward Thanksgiving dinner is tomorrow, Friday November 20th at 6:30 PM. If you have signed up to bring food, please come at 6:00 PM so everything can be ready on time. We still need a few people to help serve food during the dinner. Friends are always welcome.  

The Smith family has a Whirlpool Gold Fridge they are looking to give away to anyone that could use it. It is white, and door hinges on either side. There are 4 shelves on the inside, freezer is on top and has an ice cube maker and an internal water filter. Dimensions are 32 3/4 W, 65 1/2 H, 29 1/2D. Please contact them soon, as Salvation Army will picking it up Friday (tomorrow).

We started our Ward 40 day fast on November 1st. Please pray each day for the member who is fasting to be guided in their efforts with missionary work. Whether it be one individual who comes to mind or a missionary experience, you will be given an opportunity to share the gospel. There are still a few days in Nov (27th) and December that are open if you want the opportunity to fast. Please contact Bro. Schneiter for dates or more information on who is fasting.

We will be having our Relief Society Christmas party on Thurs. December 3rd at 7:00. We will have light refreshments. Please bring an ornament ($5 limit) to exchange and 2 dozen cookies if you would like to participate in the cookie swap.

The YM/YW have their annual service project on Wednesday, Dec 2nd. They are decorating a nursing home and though they have some Christmas decorations, they are always in need of more. If you have (gently used and in working condition) decorations you want to donate, please bring them to the church during the next 2 Sundays. Pick ups are not available.
