5th Sunday Meeting - Children and Youth Introductory Video

On Sunday for the second hour we all stayed in the chapel to watch the Children and Youth Introductory Video. This is the introduction to the new Children and Youth initiative which begins on January 1, 2020. In the video, President Russell M. Nelson introduces the vision and purposes of the new initiative. President Russell M. Ballard then facilitates a discussion between Primary, YW, YM, Relief Society General presidents. Further instruction will be given in a future Face to Face event with Elder Gerrit W. Gong on November 17th.   If you haven't had a chance to watch it, it can be found on the homepage of churchofjesuschrist.org

An introductory guide for Children and Youth and Workbooks for Children and Youth to use for the program were handed out. These too can be found on churchofjesuschrist.org

Become a G.E.M - Go the Extra Mile

A Clearwater Relief Society Ministering Initiative to:

• Support Our Ward Families
• Gather members who are inactive
• Extend our reach to our communities

This is a new quick technique to share your Ministering Experiences with the Relief Society Presidency. Your input is needed! Ministering Sisters are encouraged to share findings with the Relief Society Presidency of special needs and/or accomplishments of your sisters. Please share urgent needs immediately with a member of the Presidency at rsclearwater@gmail.com

Here's how it works. On the first Sunday when you receive the church monthly bulletin, don't toss it! Utilize any calendar, planner, online SNIPIT to record your GEM activities.

Start by writing your name at the top of the calendar. Then

1. On the date of an Attempted outreach, write down their name and check mark for the Effort you made that day. (Even though you did not reach them).
2. On the date of a live conversation, draw a heart
3. For a face to face visit, draw a star
4. when you Go the Extra Mile, and give SERVICE, you earn a GEM
5. At the end of the month, simply hand your calendar to a member of the RS Presidency, or email it to rsclearwater@gmail.com

It is will sad hearts that we announce that Phyllis Smith's funeral will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 11:00 am. The funeral will be held at Brewer & Sons Funeral Home and Parklawn Memorial Cemetary.  All are invited to attend .

Annual Stake Relief Society Brunch

Please join us for the Annual Stake Relief Society Birthday Brunch Held at the Stake Center.

Saturday, February 23rd from 10 am - 12 pm (Please note correct time)

In an effort to make sure all sisters are able to attend, a nursery will be available to those who cannot arrange other childcare. To prepare for adequate supervision for the children who will be attending, please let one of the RS presidency members know.

Relief Society Swap Night

Clean out those closets and cupboards and bring your gently used items to our Swap night. Go home with a new treasure! All items included clothes, kitchen items, toys, books, etc.

Happy New Year

Wishing Everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year! There are some very exciting changes the prophet announced in the October General Conference starting in January 2019. It may take time getting used to these changes but they are for our benefit.

Sunday meeting schedule will now be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. 

• Sacrament Meeting will be held from 9am to 10am.
• Sunday School will be held during the second hour on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.
• Relief Society, Priesthood and Young Women's will be held during the second hour on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.
• Primary will meet each Sunday during the second hour.
